PAWsitive Paws based in Great Sankey was set up by Marie Neen who has lived locally for over 10 years. Marie has shared her home with a variety of much loved pets, ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, an African grey parrot, a gecko and more recently, a very active Hungarian Vizsla called Bella. Marie has also cared for friends and neighbours pets when required and is a avid dog walker. Marie appreciates how important pets are to us and understands the great lengths owners will go to to ensure their pets are always in a loving, caring and safe environment.

 

Having had pets all her life, Marie appreciates how important all furry and scaly family members are and being a pet owner, she has faced that same dilemma of what to do when wanting to go away or when out for long periods at work. Marie said: "I’ve been there and struggled myself, I’ve not been able to call on the support of family as they don’t live locally and kennels and catteries have never been an option for my furry family members." This is the predicament many owners face and like Marie they want to ensure their animals are safe, happy and content, and Marie feels you can only really do this by having a dedicated and personalised one-to-one service.

 

For Marie it was an obvious step to set up PAWsitive Paws, allowing her to combine her love of animals and using her pet care experience and knowledge, by providing a bespoke service to pet owners in her local community. Marie provides the same high level care she would demand for her own animals. Marie said: "I get to look after wonderful animals that are loved and treasured, and the owners have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe and happy."
